The FLOURISH Fest Collab Series brings together artists from around the world to collaborate remotely on a new track with East Coast artists.

Our inaugural edition brings together artists and musicians from the East Coast of Canada and Scotland. All tracks were co-written, co-created and produced (for the most part) totally remotely from the artists home country.

End of The Line is a collaborative single by The Hypochondriacs and Lemon Drink. The visual response is by visual artist APRIL IS BLUE.

How did it work?
- We hosted an open call for music and visual artist submissions across the two regions.
- Artists were selected from a jury panel based on their applications.
- Musicians met remotely to learn more about each other and determine a process to write, produce and record their collab track. Everyone worked different, it wasn't a one size fits all and artists were given full freedom to work how they pleased.
- Once the track was completed, it was sent to a visual artist to respond to. Likewise, visual artists were given full freedom as to what medium they used, and how they responded to the track.
- Visual art and music have now been paired up for release and designed into very lovely single covers by Erin Goodine. Full visual art pieces are available to view full-size on our website www.flourish-fest.com and there will be an open exhibit in the spring / summer of 2023.
